Governing Law. Any dispute arising out of any post contained at Crime & Federalism (www.crimeandfederalism.com; federalism.typepad.com) (the Site or Blog) must be resolved under California law. Specifically, Code of Civil Procedure section 425.16 (anti-SLAPP law) shall be authorized as a defense to any lawsuit brought against Crime & Federalism as an entity, and any of the Bloggers as individuals.

Personal Jurisdiction. User affirmatively recognizes that in accessing the Site, the User is subject to personal jurisdiction of California courts. All Users, as a condition of using the Site, affirmative waive any and all arguments that California courts lack personal jurisdiction over the User.

Forum Selection. Any suit against the Blog or any Author must be filed in a court of competent jurisdiction in Los Angles County, California, or  San Francisco County, California. 

Admission of Felonious Conduct. Filing suit for a dispute arising out of any content posted on Crime & Federalism, in any court outside of Los Angeles or San Francisco, shall be an admission of a felony, namely that the plaintiff, litigant, or claimant violated the Terms of Use, and was an unauthorized user of this site. This admission of a felony may be used for any litigation-related purpose, including being used as impeachment evidence.
