Co-blogger Norm Pattis just won an acquital in a case involving a lawyer who, during an argument with opposing counsel, allegedly shoved a police officer who stepped in between the two lawyers. There was a video.
The lawyer was charged with four counts - felony assault, misdemeanor interfering with an officer and third-degree attempted assault, and misdemeanor breach of the peace. The lawyer-defendant was acquitted on all but the breach of the peace count. That's definately a victory.
Congrats, Norm. The Hartford Courant's coverage of the story is available here.
