Section 1983 Blog Update

Thanks very much for your e-mails and comments to this post. Today I e-mailed the professor who is, in my opinion, one of the top 5 or so experts on the law of Section 1983. We'll see what happens.
In the meantime, you can visit this site, a blog I started when I was a humble 2L (the first post is from 2003 - even then, I had a way with disclaimers), but didn't do anything with. It will serve as a temporary home for some 1983 case developments. It's not that great (hey, I'm in the weeds), and I'm going to post the equivalent of chicken scratch there. But it's something. I've seen way to many ideas never get implemented because people wait until the time is perfect before implementation. That's not how I handle things. Instead, I start something, and then encourage nay-sayers to make it better. If they're unwilling to help out, well, screw what they have to say.
