Two More Years of Being "Just a Kid"

I've had this conversation more times than I can rember:

Other person: Mike, don't take this the wrong way, but how old are you?
Mike: 27.
OP: Oh, shit, you're still just a kid.

There's an unwritten rule that anyone under 30-years old is still just a kid.  So today, as I turn 28, I'll reflect on my two years of remaining childhood.

UPDATE: Kip is also having his last hurrah.  (Well, I think I actually have two hurrahs.)  Then again, perhaps 40 is the new 30?
