Tasers: No Big Deal, Right?

Judges are starting to treat tasers as "no big deal."  In cases where a police officer uses a baton, even cruel judges like J. L. Edmondson and Joel F. Dubina are willing to recognize force was used.  Tasers, for some reason, seems like too much of a black box.  Tasers, to them, aren't a big deal.
